The Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library is located at the Forum in Norwich. The Forum is home to several organisations and is a focus for a wide range of learning and cultural activities in the centre of Norwich. It houses learning organisations, café, restaurant and takeaway facilities, as well as the state of the art Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library.

2nd Air Division Memorial Library

  • Monday - Friday: 10am-5pm
  • Saturday: 9am-5pm

*During times when the library is available but not staffed, you can access the library using our Open Libraries system, as long as you are registered. Please remember that you will need to bring your library card with you on every visit. This gives you self-service access to library materials, public computers and quiet, creative spaces even while the building is unstaffed. A Music Mirror enables people to capture the sounds of their own memories by linking short written prompts of life story in their own words to recordings of sound and music. These unique personal snapshots of an identity and its soundscape make a valuable toolkit to share with family, friends and carers as comfort, to build bridges and to bring the past to life if memories fade. Book a session with a library volunteer to assist you with creating a Music Mirror for yourself or for a person you care for. Interactive games, songs, role-play and storytelling, with a professional teacher from the Little People's Drama Company. 12.45-1.30 for 2-3 year olds 1.45- 2.30 for 3-4 year olds There may be some flexibility about the ages if customers can't make the appropriate time and their child is near the age group specified. None of the sessions are suitable for under 2s. £5.00 per child, payable on booking. Refunds cannot be made for customer cancellations.
