The Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library is located at the Forum in Norwich. The Forum is home to several organisations and is a focus for a wide range of learning and cultural activities in the centre of Norwich. It houses learning organisations, café, restaurant and takeaway facilities, as well as the state of the art Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library.

Rhymetimes for the youngest babies, held in the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Children's Library Rhymes, books and songs for babies under fifteen months, or who are not yet walking: To comply with health and safety regulations, this event is strictly limited to 30 children, plus accompanying adults. Please arrive in plenty of time to collect a numbered sticker from library staff, and to find a seat. We ask you to cooperate with staff, and thank you for helping to make the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Children's Library a safe and comfortable space.

A Music Mirror enables people to capture the sounds of their own memories by linking short written prompts of life story in their own words to recordings of sound and music. These unique personal snapshots of an identity and its soundscape make a valuable toolkit to share with family, friends and carers as comfort, to build bridges and to bring the past to life if memories fade. Book a session with a library volunteer to assist you with creating a Music Mirror for yourself or for a person you care for. Held in the Vernon Castle room. 2.30=3.15 for 2-4 year olds. 3.30-4.15 for 4-6 year olds There may be some flexibility about the ages if customers can't make the appropriate time and their child is near the age group specified. None of the sessions are suitable for under 2s. £5.00 per child, payable on booking. Refunds cannot be made for customer cancellations. Author Andrew Hook will be in the Millennium Library all day talking to readers and writers about his books. Andrew is an established author with over 140 short stories and eight books in print in a variety of genres. Andrew will also be giving two short talks (at 12.10 & 1.10) about wiriting and getting published, including a Q&A session. Feel free to bring your lunch and meet an author. Andrew will also be signing and selling copies of his books throughout the day.
