Did you know you can renew your library books online? You will need your library card and PIN.
Opening hours
You can return library items outside of opening hours using our dropbox. The dropbox is outside the ground floor library doors. Please make sure that books drop into the box completely and are not left sticking out.
Main library
The ground and first floors of the library are open:
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 7pm (8am to 10am Open Library access to first floor only)
- Saturday: 9am to 5pm
- Sunday: 10.30am to 4.30pm (Open Library access to first floor only)
Open Library gives you access to your local library even when it is unstaffed. Find out more about Open Library.
The Norwich Millennium Zine Library is a space on the first floor to read hundreds of zines on topics like activism, protest, local interest, gender, sexuality, photography, art, nature, and more.
Second Floor
This includes the Norfolk Heritage Centre and the Business & IP Centre, which are open:
- Monday to Friday: 10am to 7pm
- Saturday: 9am to 5pm
Express and Early Years libraries
The Express library and the Early Years library on the ground floor are open:
- Monday to Friday: 10am to 7pm
- Saturday: 9am to 7pm (5pm to 7pm Express library only)
- Sunday: 10.30am to 4.30pm
American Library
The American Library on the ground floor is open:
- Monday to Saturday: 10am to 5pm
- Sunday: Closed
