Market position statement for Norfolk
Norfolk's Market Position Statement (MPS) sets out our shared vision for a high-quality, sustainable and diverse care market - one that supports people to live independently, stay well, and stay connected to their communities.
It helps ensure there is a wide choice of social care services and support available across Norfolk, so that people can access the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
The MPS is for care providers, VCSE organisations, investors and other stakeholders who want to understand Norfolk's adult social care priorities - and work with us to shape future services.
It supports the delivery of Norfolk's Adult Social Services Strategy and transformation programmes and will be updated as new data, insight and provider feedback becomes available.
The MPS explores:
- What people in Norfolk need from care and support - and how this is changing
- What services are currently available, and where there are gaps
- Our commissioning priorities and transformation plans
- How we fund and purchase care
- The challenges facing Norfolk's care sector
- How we're working with providers to address these and deliver our six strategic aims
