Path closures and temporary route changes

Marriott’s Way is a 26 mile footpath, bridleway and cycle route which follows the routes of two disused railway lines, running between Aylsham and Norwich.

The route is named after the chief engineer and manager of the Midland and Great Northern Railway system William Marriott.

Temporary changes

Reepham Station

Marriott's Way at Reepham Station will be closed between 9 November and 4 December 2020 due to UK Power Networks installing power cables. While this is happening, we are arranging for ash die back affected trees on the trail to be made safe and surface improvements carried out. A diversion will be available for walkers and cyclists and will be signed on the ground. We apologise to horse riders but no equestrian diversion is available.
