Marriott’s Way is a 26 mile footpath, bridleway and cycle route which follows the routes of two disused railway lines, running between Aylsham and Norwich.
The route is named after the chief engineer and manager of the Midland and Great Northern Railway system William Marriott.

The bridge at Porters Lane, Lenwade has been closed due to safety concerns.
Cyclists and walkers diversion: (1.63km) to head down to Norwich Road, A1067 head West until you meet Hall Walk on your right. Head down Hall Road, there is a public footpath on your left. Follow until Heath Lane. Head North to rejoin Marriotts Way.
Equestrian Diversion (1.74km). Head North along Porters Lane. At crossroad turn left onto Rabbit Lane and follow until you meet Heath lane. Head south to rejoin Marriotts Way.
