Prince's Trust team programme

The Prince’s Trust 12 week team programme is a self development course for young people aged between 16 and 26 who are not in employment, training or education.

Over the 12-week programme students will undertake a number of tasks to support them to develop their leadership, teamwork, communication and self confidence, assisting the young person to move into employment, apprenticeships or further education.

The programme is delivered three times a year at our six delivery points. We recruit teams in January, April and September each year.

Testimonials

Aaron, aged 20 former team member

"Before the wonderful experience of the Prince’s Trust team programme, I was unemployed. I had completed 3 years at college and was not confident with my job searching/finding skills.
After being on job seekers for 3 months and having no luck they recommended me to the course.

"The highlight of the course was the challenge games both at the residential in Mersea Island and the initial ice breakers. The course gave me the opportunity to do work experience and show off my work talents.

"After doing my work experience the employer/place of work decided to take me on. I have now worked there for 10 months and I feel a lot more confident in work situations."

Tony, aged 24 former team member

"Before the Prince’s trust course I was unemployed and struggling to find work. When I was on the Prince’s Trust I learnt new life skills and got more confidence. I had really good fun on the course and enjoyed it all.

"After leaving the Prince’s Trust I found a job catching turkeys which I enjoy doing. I got the job with the help from my certificates I got from the course."
