We offer free courses for parents and carers who would like some support. They are held online or in small face to face groups.

Understanding your child (Solihull approach)

A ten week course with practical activities. This course will help you learn more about your child's development, and the reasons behind certain behaviours. Topics include:

  • Communication
  • Interactions
  • Having fun together
  • Ages and stages of growing up
  • Managing feelings
  • Sleep
  • Relationships

Triple P

This eight week course offers support, information and practical answers to everyday parenting concerns. You will learn effective strategies to respond to your child's behaviour, and how to promote positive and caring relationships between you and your children. Find out more about Triple P.

Freedom programme

This is a ten week course for women looking at healthy relationships. It's a safe environment to be able to discuss and understand previous and current relationships. Visit www.freedomprogramme.co.uk for more information.

Healthy relationship groups are provided by ECFS along with other partners. 

Circle of security

An eight week course to help you understand your child's emotions. You will learn how to support them to manage their emotions, and build a stronger, more secure relationship. Find out more about circle of security.
