Advertising with Norfolk County Council

We offer advertising opportunities through County Council channels to generate income for the authority aimed at supporting our services and achieving best value for our residents.

As a local authority with specific duties and responsibilities we will take regard of the type and nature of the advertising that is acceptable.

Acceptance of advertising does not guarantee that Norfolk County Council warrants the accuracy of any advertisement, nor does it endorse any goods or products advertised.

Current advertising opportunities with Norfolk County Council are as follows:

Your Norfolk

Norfolk County Council's Your Norfolk publication for all residents is issued in printed form three times a year (March, June and October).

The printed version is delivered to approximately 390,000 homes across Norfolk by Royal Mail.

Feedback from subjects featured in Your Norfolk:

  • "I can't tell you exact numbers, but we've probably had in the region of 300 calls since the publication was released and we are still getting the odd one now"
  • "Of the 388 booked appointments we had, when asked 176 said they saw it in Your Norfolk so that's 45%"
  • "The event was a huge success and very well attended by people who specifically mentioned that they had seen it in Your Norfolk"

We offer a maximum of two pages of advertising in each printed issue - the current cost of a full page is £3,000.

While the majority of competition promotions in Your Norfolk feature services we run or events and initiatives we are supporting, competition slots are sometimes available for companies who meet our advertising criteria.

We can offer a half-page (max 250 words, including competition terms and conditions) in return for a minimum prize value of £550.

Roundabouts - sponsored displays

We work in partnership with Marketing Force to promote sponsorship of roundabouts within the county. In return, the sponsor is allowed advertising in the form signs incorporating the sponsor details placed on the roundabout.

More information about the scheme can be found on the Marketing Force's website.

If you'd like to sponsor a display, you should contact Marketing Force with your proposal by emailing or calling 01394 672467.

If you want to fund an enhancement, such as planting a display on the roundabout, we need to approve an appropriate contractor and scheme in consultation with the roundabout sponsorship agent.

If you would like clarification or details of restrictions, you can use our general enquiry form.

For trunk road (A11 and A47) contact Highways England.
