County Hall

County Hall is closed to the public on bank holidays. Some Council offices are permanently closed to drop in visitors. Please check before visiting.

Highway maintenance

• Report highway faults at any time (non-emergency faults only)
• Report street lighting faults at any time

Libraries

All Norfolk Libraries (including Open Library) are closed on bank holidays.

Museums

Some of our museums are open during holidays. Please check the opening times of our museums before visiting.

Norfolk Record Office

The Norfolk Record Office (NRO) search room is closed on bank holidays.

Recycling centres

The recycling centres are open as normal over most bank holidays but are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Check our recycling centre site pages for further information.

Registration offices

All registration offices are closed on bank holidays.

If you need to complete an emergency registration then the police can contact the Registration Service out of hours. Call 101 and ask for the control room.
