Learning Mentor Apprenticeship Level 3 Standard

Duration

The duration of the Level 3 Learning & Mentor Apprenticeship will be 12-14 months.

It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure every apprentice is given 20% of their paid hours as time to learn.

Qualification

Learning Mentor Apprenticeship Level 3. You will be required to take Functional Skills maths, English & ICT at Level 2 if you do not already hold the equivalent GCSE grade 4-9 or (old system A*-C), as well as a Level 1 Safeguarding qualification as part of the apprenticeship.

Job Role

The roles associated with this apprenticeship can be varied but are likely to include:

  • Advise & guide staff members in the working environment or learning within the education setting
  • Provide practical & technical support
  • Support development of skills, knowledge & behaviours

Delivery

To help apprentices, there will be a variety in the ways they will learn:

  • Workplace/workshop learning
  • 1 to 1 support from Assessor to Apprentice
  • Online learning environment for support throughout the Apprenticeship
  • Monthly workshops

Progression

Opportunity to progress onto a full teaching role within an education and training provider organisation or into roles involving the assessment and coaching of vocational learners.
