Flood risk asset register

Under Section 21 of the Flood and Water Management Act (2010), Norfolk County Council as the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) has a responsibility to create and maintain an asset register of structures or features that are likely to have a significant effect on a flood risk in its area.

Methodology

Norfolk County Council has collated all available asset information from Risk Management Authorities in the County. This information was assessed against areas of high flood risk and level of protection (significance) based on the Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment. The assets that have evidence to show that they have a significant effect on a flood risk are listed below.

This Register is intended to be a living document and assets will be added as new information is made available or if new assets that meet the criteria are constructed.
