Lakenham Way cycle path

September to December 2016

Work was carried out to improve Lakenham Way, which is part of the yellow pedalway.

This included:

• Improved lighting by upgrading street lanterns
• Installation of new cycle stands, including some closer to the shops
• Resurfacing of shared-use path
• Upgrading of street light lanterns
• Removal of three trees, which were causing damage to the path. Replacement trees that are more suited to the area were planted.
