King Street

This project delivered a number of pedestrian, cycling and landscape improvements as part of the wider Prince of Wales Road/ Rose Lane improvement scheme.

This phase of work pedestrianised the section of King Street between Prince of Wales Road and Rose Lane, creating a new high-quality link for those on foot and bike. The reduction of car movements from side roads will help address congestion on Rose Lane.
