Library charges exemptions
Some people don't have to pay library charges for reservations and loans, and certain other library services.
Exemptions from other library charges
Late return charges for books and general interest DVDs/videos
The following people/groups do not have to pay:
- Children and young people under 16
- Housebound people
- Customers with physical or learning disabilities/difficulties
- Playgroups
- Family reading groups
- Registered residential homes/day centres, etc
- Hospitals
- Prisons
- Norfolk County Council departments, except for Norfolk Community Learning Service cards
Late return charges for adult audio books and language courses
The following people/groups do not have to pay:
- People who are housebound
- People who are registered disabled
- Customers with physical or learning disabilities/difficulties
- Registered residential homes/day centres, etc
- Hospitals
- Prisons
- Norfolk County Council departments, except for Norfolk Community Learning Service cards
Late return or loan charges for recorded music
The following people/groups do not have to pay:
- Customers with physical or learning disabilities/difficulties
- Hospitals
