Farming and archaeology
If you have a well-preserved archaeological site on your land, you may receive a visit from the Norfolk Monuments Management Project.
The project will be able to give you information about the site and discuss its conservation with you.
If a change of farming practice would help to protect the archaeological interest, grants may be available as part of an Environmental Stewardship agreement or under management agreements provided by English Heritage or Norfolk County Council.
