Public transport links

There are a variety of buses, trains, or even boats, to help you walk Angles Way.

You can reach Angles Way by rail from train stations in Thetford, Diss, Beccles, Oulton Broad, Somerleyton and Great Yarmouth.

Several bus services criss-cross the route, the main one being Anglian Bus’s service 80 between Diss and Beccles via Harleston and Bungay. Information on the individual short and long walk pages suggests bus services you may wish to use.

Visit www.traveline.info for all public transport information.

You can also cross the River Waveney via ferry in two places - between Burgh St Peter and Carlton Marshes (on-demand service run by Waveney River Centre) and between Beccles Lido and Geldeston Locks (seasonal service run by Big Dog Ferry).
