Who can take part in Working Well Norfolk
Working Well Norfolk can help you if you:
- Have a disability or long-term health condition (including autism, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions) - you don't need a formal diagnosis), or
- Belong to one of these groups:
- A person serving a community sentence
- A person with previous convictions
- A carer or ex-carer
- A person experiencing homelessness
- A former member of His Majesty's Armed Forces
- A member of His Majesty's Armed Forces reserves
- A partner of current or former Armed Forces personnel
- A person for whom drug or alcohol dependency presents a significant barrier to employment, including those with a history of dependency
- Care experienced young person or care leaver
- A refugee or a resettled Afghan national
- A person supported under the UK's Ukraine schemes
- A victim/survivor of domestic abuse
- Young person identified as being involved or at risk of being involved in serious violence
- A victim of modern slavery
To take part, you must
- Live in Norfolk
- Be aged 18 or over (16 or over under some circumstances)
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Be in one of these employment situations:
- You are not currently doing any paid work, have not worked for around 6 months, and would be available to start a suitable job, or
- You have been employed for at least 3 months, and are at risk of losing work
You must also be motivated to take part in Working Well Norfolk. Participation is voluntary - you are not required to join if you choose not to.
How to get support
You can refer yourself to Working Well or someone else can refer you (with your consent). For example, your employer, GP, local council or housing association could refer you.
