Help shape the future of the Norfolk coast

Norfolk County Council , 5 November 2025 12:44

The Norfolk Coast Partnership is inviting everyone who lives, works, or visits the area to take part in a public consultation on the draft Norfolk Coast National Landscape Management Plan 2025-2030.

This five-year strategy sets out a bold and collaborative vision for protecting and enhancing one of the UK's most treasured coastal landscapes. It focuses on four key priorities: nature recovery, climate adaptation and mitigation, sustainable development, and supporting local communities.

Councillor Andrew Jamieson, Chair of the Norfolk Coast Partnership, said: "This is a plan shaped by the people of the Norfolk Coast. We are not imposing this plan; it has been driven by you and people like you. Whether you're a farmer, fisher, business owner, conservationist or visitor, your voice matters. We want to hear from everyone who cares about the future of this extraordinary place."

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the Management Plan, drop-in sessions are being held throughout November. These sessions offer a chance to speak directly with the Norfolk Coast Protected Landscape team, ask questions and share your views.
