What we use your information for
If you (company/business and/or Politician) have provided consent, we use your personal information to:
- Collect your feedback/testimonial via our website to support the A47 Alliance campaign for A47 dualling
- Use your feedback/testimonial:
- On the A47 Alliance website (www.a47alliance.co.uk)
- On the A47 Alliance social media accounts (Facebook and X)
- On the A47 Alliance brochure (both print and e-versions)
- As part of presentations (A47 Alliance Steering Group, Businesses, Ministers and key decision makers).
- Contact you where you have provided separate consent, this is in relation to further publications and/or media promotions
We also use your personal information to:
- Reply to emails and/or requests for information should you contact us directly

The information we may collect and use about you:
- Name (if you are a business or politician)
- Company/business name
- General location (e.g. Great Yarmouth, Norwich, King's Lynn)
- Testimonial on why you support A47 dualling
Where separate consent has been obtained:
- Photographs and/or video footage (including audio) of you
- Name
- Email address
- Business and/or company name
- Locational data (i.e., Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Kings Lynn etc)
We may also collect and use "special category" information on the photos/videos relating to:
- Health data including any disabilities and medical conditions.
- Religious or philosophical beliefs
- sexual orientation
for example:
- Information about your physical or mental health, or disability status, which may be captured in photographs and/or video footage
- Information about your race or national or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or your sexual orientation, which may be captured in photographs and/or video footage
By law we can only collect 'special category' information when it is relevant and for the purposes described above.

The information we hold is information you have provided to us via our website (https://www.a47alliance.co.uk/support-us), via email or at one of our events.
Who we share your information with
We may share your personal information if you are a company/business or politician (including your testimonial):
- Facebook and X (public posting)
- On the A47 Alliance public website (www.a47alliance.co.uk)
- Within the A47 Alliance brochure (printed and e-version). Brochures are shared with members of the A47 Alliance and at A47 Alliance events, including events with businesses and at Westminster.
- Within presentations to the A47 Alliance Steering Group, businesses, Ministers and key decision makers.
Your personal information may also be given to and/or used by other authorities on the A47 Alliance in the circumstance whereby the chairperson of the A47 Alliance is of a different local authority to Norfolk County Council, therefore testimonials provided will be used as part of their communication materials under the A47 Alliance name. l be used as part of their communication materials under the A47 Alliance name. How the law protects you and the legal basis for processing your information
We have legal reasons under the UK GDPR to use your information because you have provided:

How long will we keep your personal information for
Your personal information and testimonials are retained for five years. After this time, they will no longer be published and will be securely deleted (but may continue to appear in publications/online if already in circulation).
How we keep your information
The information is stored electronically, on Norfolk County Council's records management system.
Your personal information may be transferred outside of the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA). While some countries have adequate legal protections for personal data, in other countries steps will be necessary to ensure appropriate safeguards apply to the information. Your photo/video may be posted on social media sites such as: X and Facebook.
Some countries don't offer the same protections as the UK or the EEA. If you withdraw consent the A47 Alliance will delete your data but we may not be able to remove it if it's been transferred outside the UK or EEA.
You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time by contacting [email protected], after this your name, testimonial, company/business name, image/video will not be used/published in future publications/online but may continue to appear in publications/online if already in circulation.

We do not make automated decisions.
Changes to this notice
We may amend this privacy notice at any time so please review it frequently. The date below will be amended each time this notice is updated.
