Health and Social Care Act (2008 and 2012) and Health and Care Act (2022)
This included the establishment of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as the regulator of all health and adult social care services. This required all providers of regulated activities to register with the CQC and adhere to its regulations. This also required the integration and joined up care between key partners.
