Making it Real
The Making it Real Board is an independent group made up of disabled people and unpaid carers, who have lived experience of adult social care in Norfolk.
What we do
The Board was formed in partnership with Norfolk County Council to ensure that the voices of those who use services are central to how those services are designed and delivered.
It plays a key role in promoting co-production, which means working together as equals to shape services that are more personalised, accessible and effective.
Its purpose is to advise on what good co-production looks like, support inclusive planning from the earliest stages, and challenge practices that do not reflect the needs and rights of service users.
