Opening times 

The office is open by appointment only. If you turn up without an appointment you will not be able to speak to a registrar. There are administrative staff at the Archive Centre Norwich and the King's Lynn Office from Monday to Friday and also the Great Yarmouth Office from Tuesday to Thursday.

On rare occasions offices may be closed due to circumstances beyond our control.

Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm

Closed for lunch 12.45pm to 1.45pm

The office is occasionally open at other times and on other days of the week. When booking your appointment online the system will show you if any other days or times can be booked.

Parking

There are several car parks within close walking distance to the library. 

Accessibility

The office is on the first floor and can be accessed by lift.

• Register a death
• Give notice of a marriage or civil partnership

In an emergency the police can contact a registrar. Call 101 and ask for the control room.
