Accessing the SEND Local Offer without a computer
We are very aware that not everyone feels confident to use information technology. Not every household owns a computer. Therefore, it is essential that other ways of accessing digital information is made known to these groups of people.
To make the SEND Local Offer accessible to all, the following arrangements are in place:
- The SEND Local Offer website and Facebook page are available from a smart (mobile) phone
- Libraries across the county offer:
- Free internet access and bookable computers for members. Go to www.norfolk.gov.uk/computers for more information.
- Digital support sessions and clubs
- Local SEND support organisations and groups are available to help you
- Norfolk SEND Information Advice and Support Service can help you navigate the SEND Local Offer
- Making Sense of SEND events take place around the county to help parents, carers and professionals learn more about SEND services and support
- Family Hubs across the county provide information, advice and help to families with children aged 0-19 (to 25 with SEND)
- SEN co-ordinators, teachers, key workers, services and community groups are also available to assist and help you
