Step-by-step-guide
Our partners should follow this step-by-step process for completing and submitting Early Help assessment requests and documentation.
You should also refer to our guidance notes 'Early Help assessment and plan guidance'. This guidance can be downloaded from the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership website.
Step 1 - Notify Norfolk County Council
You must notify us before starting the process. Please complete the Early Help registration and request for support form online.
Before you can submit the online request, you must confirm that the family agrees to share information.
A new consent form for Early Help Assessment and Plans will follow shortly. In the meantime please contact the relevant Community and Partnership Team to confirm your uploaded Early Help Assessment and Plan has been received and that you have consent in place for this.
Step 2 - Complete an Early Help assessment and submit the plan

Once you have completed the document, submit it as an attachment online.

Step 3 - Complete an Early Help review and submit the review document
Complete the '1.Reviewing our plan' section of the document.
Once you have completed the 'Reviewing our plan' section of the document, submit it as an attachment online.
Step 4 - End the Early Help plan
When the end goals are met, complete the '2.Ending our plan' section of the Early Help assessment and plan: reviewing and ending a plan document.
Once you have completed the 'Ending our plan' section of the document, submit it as an attachment online.
