Learn My Way

If you or somebody you know needs help with learning how to use online services, we would suggest registering with the Learn My Way website.

The website contains over 30 free courses designed to help beginners get started with the online basics - using a mouse, keyboard, setting up email accounts and using internet search engines - while also offering plenty to help people develop their digital skills further. Follow the link and enter the name of your local library in the ‘Centre’ box for free online learning.

Online library resources

We subscribe to a range of online resources which you can access from your devices at home - all you need to log in from home is your library card number and your pin. The resources include 19 century British Newspapers, Times Digital Archive (1785 to 1985), Encyclopaedia Britannica online and Oxford Dictionaries. COBRA (Complete Online Business Reference Advisor) is an online resource which provides information about starting up and running a business, you can access this resource from home with your library card number and pin. You can join the library online.
