Fullers Hill walking and cycling improvements

Started: Monday 28 January 2019

Completed: early April 2019

Final cost to follow.

We’re improving cycling and walking facilities in the Fullers Hill area of Great Yarmouth by making a series of changes to pavements and crossing facilities. These are designed to make it quicker, easier and safer to travel around the area on foot and by bike.

Details of scheme:

  • Three sections of pavement converted into shared-use pedestrian/cycle paths
  • Toucan crossings for pedestrians and cyclists to connect the new sections of shared-use path
  • A signalised pedestrian-only crossing across Fullers Hill, near its junction with Northgate Street
  • Landscaped area on central island of Northgate Street junction with Fullers Hill

More information on timescales and traffic management while work takes place will be updated on this page nearer the time.
