The Local List for Validation of Planning Applications sets out the level of information required to support the submission of a planning application to the County Planning Authority. The guidance provides clarity for applicants and will help to ensure that a planning application can be processed in an efficient and timely manner. All applications must meet both national and local validation requirements.
On 5 June 2023 the County Council’s Cabinet approved The Norfolk County Council Local List for Validation of Planning Applications 2023. This replaces the previous version dated 2016.
The current Local List (2023) has been significantly reformatted and split into 2 separate documents. The information within the Local List is updated in line with current and anticipated legislation, guidance, National and Local Planning related policies.
Applicants for Minerals and Waste development should use the Minerals and Waste Local List.
