Open as usual on bank holidays but closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day

Directions

Located on Stone Road. Leaving Brundall village, head east towards Strumpshaw. Go under the railway bridge and take next right (Stone Road). Follow this road for about one mile. Recycling centre is signed and on the left.

Items you can and cannot bring

Types of waste we accept/do not accept at all our recycling centres.

We accept DIY waste at this site using the Pay As You Throw service.

We don’t accept hazardous waste (eg asbestos, paint).

Gas bottles are currently not accepted at Strumpshaw due to nesting birds. The nearest alternative is Caister Main Plus Recycling Centre.

Additional information

This site has a Reuse Shop, where you can buy or donate unwanted items, including things like crockery, records, books, bikes and furniture. We welcome any household items that can be resold. Speak to an on-site recycling advisor for more information.

We sell compost at all our recycling centres, for £3.50 a bag. The bags are hand-filled to approximately 40 litres.

You can pay with cash (up to £10), credit and debit card (chip and pin and contactless).
