Our recycling centres may not always be open - check the recycling centre closures page for updates on which ones are closed before you visit.
Open daily 9am - 4pm
Open as usual on bank holidays but closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. A car boot sale operates every Sunday morning on the Harford Park and Ride. Please take care when visiting the recycling centre.
Located off the junction of the A140/A47 roundabout (not accessible from the B1113 entrance). Please do not rely on satnav.
Items you can and cannot bring
We accept items from your own home.
We do not accept fly-tipped items at this recycling centre.
Types of waste we accept/do not accept at all our recycling centres.
We accept Do It Yourself (DIY) waste at this site. Learn more about DIY waste. Card payment only over £10.
We accept business waste at this site, for a charge.
We don't accept hazardous waste (eg asbestos, paint).
You can bring up to three bags of litter to this site - but you need to notify us first. Find out how to drop of the litter you have collected.
Reuse shop and items for sale
This site has a reuse shop where you can donate unwanted items or pick up preloved goods at bargain prices. Read more about our reuse shops.
You can also buy these items directly from our recycling centres, subject to stock availability:
- Bags of compost for £4.50 a bag, which contain approximately 40 litres of compost made from recycled garden waste
- Compost bins are £12 for a 220 litre home compost bin and you can buy one and get one half price (limited to 2 per customer)
- Winter gritting salt is £6 for a 26kg bag
- Garden waste sacks are £4 each, for storage and transport of garden waste
Save money, protect the environment and consider others. Turn off your vehicle engine when parking at the recycling centre.
Pedestrian access is restricted for safety reasons. To arrange access on foot, call 0344 8008020 and tell us the date, time and site you wish to visit, and your contact details. Please call us at least two working days before you wish to visit.
If you're planning to visit by bike, please be prepared to either wait with the motor vehicles if there is a queue or call in advance to arrange pedestrian access.
Please follow any parking instructions given by the recycling centre staff.
Please reverse your vehicle into the parking bays at this recycling centre.
