Digital support and skills courses

Person using a laptop at a desk

We hold regular events in our libraries to help you get online and learn digital skills. We can answer your IT queries, set up an email account, search for jobs online and more.

Digital health hub

We can help you with the skills you need to access online health services. This includes things like how to make an online appointment with a GP and ordering repeat prescriptions online.

We can also show you how to find reliable health information on NHS websites and NHS apps.

These are one-to-one sessions, delivered online over Zoom, or in person in Norfolk libraries. (We can even help you get started with Zoom!)

To book a place, call 01603 774777 or email libraries.iconnect@norfolk.gov.uk.

Free online IT courses

Our free online IT courses are aimed at people thinking of a career in IT. Study at your own pace, at home or at your local library. There's no time limit for completing the work and you can sign up for as many courses as you like.

Online library resources

We subscribe to a range of resources which you can access from home. All you need to log in is your library card number and your pin. The resources include 19 century British newspapers, Times Digital Archive (1785 to 1985), Encyclopaedia Britannica online and Oxford Dictionaries.
