Disability employment adviser

What is the role of a disability employment adviser?

There is a Disability employment adviser (DEAs) covering every Jobcentre in the country.

Disability employment advisers specialise in finding the right support to help clients who have a disability or health condition into work. They support the work coaches with these clients.

You can ask for a DEA to attend your appointment at your local Jobcentre for more specialist information, advice and support.

The DEA is the first point of contact for healthcare professionals.
