DWP work coach

What is the role of a work coach?

Work coaches can give you help and support regardless of your situation.  They can help you find work or gain new skills even if you have been out of work for a long time, or if you have little or no work experience.

Your work coach can offer you:

  • Support to identify what type of work or training suits you best
  • Signpost, where appropriate, to provision that is available to help you to move forward to gain necessary skills to progress closer to work
  • Your work coach may let you know about jobs that match your experience and skills
