Support for care leavers aged 21-25
We're here for you until you're 25.
The amount of support you are entitled to depends on your care leaver status. Check your rights on the GOV.UK support for care leavers website.
As you become more independent, the support you need may change. However, you can still get help from Norfolk's Life Beyond Care service.
As you prepare to move on from our service, we'll make sure you:
- Feel confident about living on your own
- Know where to go for help in the future
We'll help you connect with other services, community resources and local support networks. They can continue to support you.
Need support again before you turn 25?
If you've stepped away from our service but things change, you can get back in touch.
We may be able to provide advice and help with a specific issue. We can also discuss if it would help if you got support from a personal adviser again. Wherever possible, we'll make it easy for you to reconnect with us.
After you turn 25
When you reach 25, your statutory care leaver support will end. However, our Life Beyond Care hubs are still open to you. We'll make sure you know about community services and other sources of support. You can also email the Life Beyond Care team for advice and guidance.
