Where to look for work

Job websites

There are many websites that publicise current local and national job vacancies.

Social media and local news

Many jobs are advertised on social media. Keep up to date with local news, so you know if companies are expanding or coming to the area.

Company websites

You can contact companies where you would like to work. You can also find recruitment information on the HR or careers section of a company's website. Send an email and CV and explain what type of role you are looking for.

Interviews

If you need interview clothes we might be able to contribute towards the cost. We may also help with travel costs to and from any interview, up until you are 25. Speak to your life beyond care personal adviser.

If you are not working
