Vancouver Suite, King's Lynn
Ceremonies in King's Lynn take place in refurbished splendour in the magnificent town hall.
King's Lynn registration office is in the heart of the town, in Saturday Market Place. The building is of considerable architectural and historic interest and forms a picturesque feature of the street scenery of Old Lynn.
Decorated in neutral heritage colours, the Vancouver Suite is light and airy with an elegantly modern feel. And with its delightful walled garden, it's the perfect venue for small ceremonies.

Ceremony times
Ceremonies take place on the hour:
- Wednesdays 10am-12 noon
- Thursdays 12 noon-2pm
- Fridays 12 noon-2pm
- Saturday 12 noon-2pm
Capacity
The capacity is for 20 people (this includes children and babies) which includes the two witnesses and a photographer if you are having one, but does not include the couple and the two registrars. Outdoor ceremonies are not offered from this location.

Access
The Vancouver Suite is located on the ground floor of the building and is fully accessible.
Ceremony arrival times
For couples who want to arrive separately and not see each other before the ceremony begins, we advise staggering your arrival times.
- Partner 1 please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony start time.
- Partner 2 and all your guests should arrive 20 minutes before the ceremony start time.
For couples who are arriving together, please arrive, with your guests, 20 minutes before the ceremony start time and both make your entrance into the Ceremony entrance where you will be met by a member of our team.
Parking
There is no parking available at the registration office. Parking is available close to the office and around King's Lynn town centre. The nearest pay and display car parks are in the Saturday Market place, Church Street or Baker Lane car park.
Animals
Animals are not allowed into the building, with the exception of service dogs.
Music
We have a modern sound system at Downham Market for you to use. You must bring your own music to the ceremony with you on CD or your phone. Wi-Fi is not available.
Photographs
You are welcome to take photos in the ceremony room, in addition, the delightful walled garden makes a scented and colourful backdrop for photographs.
Confetti
All confetti must be bio-degradable. Confetti is not allowed anywhere inside the Town Hall or in the walled garden. Confetti can be thrown outside the building, away from the main entrance.
Waiting area
There is a small ceremony waiting area for guests
Food and drink
No food or drink is allowed to be consumed in the ceremony room
Smoking
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not allowed.
Visiting with children
A baby changing unit can be found on the ground floor close to the Vancouver Suite. There is limited space inside the Vancouver Suite and ceremony waiting area for pushchairs/buggies.
