Beachamwell PE37 Public Rights of Way

Beachamwell: application for a modification order proposing the upgrade and addition of public rights of way.

The intended effect of the application is to upgrade a Bridleway and part of a Footpath to Restricted Byways and to add Footpaths in the parish of Beachamwell to the definitive map and statement.

Grid references for the start and end of the claimed routes

  • One of the routes starts at the junction of Beachamwell Bridleway No. 1 and Beachamwell Road (C122) at grid reference TF7436 0637 and heads in a north by north easterly direction for approximately 1,714 metres to grid reference TF7474 0804. The route then heads in a north westerly direction for approximately 114 metres to grid reference TF7469 0814 and then heads in a north by north westerly direction for approximately 52 metres to grid reference TF7468 0819. The route then heads in a north by north easterly direction for 77 metres to grid reference TF7469 0826 and then heads in a north westerly direction for approximately 79 metres to grid reference TF7466 0834. The route then heads in a west by north westerly direction for approximately 89 metres to grid reference TF7458 0837 and then finally heads in a north by north easterly direction for approximately 85 metre where Beachamwell Bridleway No. 1 meets Swaffham Road (A1122) at grid reference TF7460 0845.
  • One of the routes starts at the junction of Beachamwell Bridleway No. 1 and Beachamwell Footpath No. 4 at gird reference TF7474 0804 and heads in a south easterly direction for approximately 278 metres to grid reference TF7484 0778. The route then heads in a west by north westerly direction for 158 metres to re-join Beachamwell Bridleway No. 1 at grid reference TF7469 0782.
  • One of the routes starts on Beachamwell Bridleway No. 1 at grid reference TF7458 0837 and heads in a south by south westerly direction for approximately 495 metres to grid reference TF7445 0789.
  • One of the routes starts at the junction of Beachamwell Bridleway No.1 and Beachamwell Footpath 4 at grid reference TF7469 0782 and heads in a west by north westerly direction for approximately 472 metres to meet Swaffham Road (A1122) at grid reference TF7423 0794.
