Our phone line is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, excluding bank holidays.
How we can help you
Our team of advisors can help you:
- Learn how to access support for children and young people
- Learn about the support available to your child
- Get guidance and support if a child is at risk of being permanently excluded from their place of learning
- Get guidance and advice if you are considering applying for an education, health and care plan (EHCP)

Webchat service
Our webchat service is for parents, carers and young people.
If you find phone calls difficult, you can contact us using this service instead. You will always be chatting with a real person.
The webchat is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, excluding bank holidays. You'll see a button below when the webchat is open and an advisor is available.
The advisor may guide you to a different way of contacting us if your question/enquiry is a complicated one.
Our advisors use Copilot to record and create summaries of conversations. You will be asked at the beginning of the chat if you are happy for copilot to be used. If you are under the age of 13, your parent or guardian will need to provide consent for you to use this part of the service. If you provide consent for this service you can change your mind at any time by letting us know.
