Duration
18-24 months.
Qualification
Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care.
You may be required to take Functional Skills maths and English at Level 2 if you do not already hold the equivalent GCSE grade 4-9 or (old system A*-C).
Job role
Lead Practitioners Adult Care have responsibility for providing supervision, front line leadership, guidance and direction for others, working independently, responsibly and problem solving.
The roles can be varied but are likely to include:
- Care Assessment Officer
- Physiotherapy Assistant
- Dementia Lead
- Social Services Officer
- Rehabilitation & Reablement Assistant
Delivery
- Workplace/workshop learning
- 1 to 1 support from assessor to apprentice
- Online learning environment to support learning throughout the apprenticeship
- Professional and recognised qualification
