Norfolk SEND Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

Why the SEND JSNA matters

The SEND JSNA provides the evidence to help all organisations in Norfolk understand where services are working well and where improvements are needed.

Norfolk's Local Inclusion Partnership is co-Chaired by Norfolk County Council's Director for Inclusion and Belonging and the co-Chairs of parent carer forum Family Voice Norfolk.

This partnership monitors the Norfolk Area SEND and Alternative Provision Strategy (NASAPS) and its Community of Practice, which brings partners together to regularly update priorities for SEND improvement work using the SEND JSNA data.

The NASAPS action plan, known as the Local Area Inclusion Plan (LAIP), delivers on these actions. This ensures improvement work in Norfolk achieves real and measurable impact.
