Norfolk & Suffolk Digital Sector Skills Group

We are a collaborative, employer-led network, dedicated to shaping the future of digital skills in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Digital skills group

We bring together digital professionals and business leaders to address the challenges and opportunities in recruiting, developing, and retaining talent in our fast-evolving digital sector.

What we do

We facilitate an effective skills discussion for the sector in the region. We bring together businesses and stakeholders invested in the digital industry and digitalisation of the economy, supporting:

  • Improved in-work progression
  • Workforce development
  • The provision of learning
  • Curriculum development

What we can offer you

  • Opportunities for networking and collaboration between experienced sector professionals. This includes key figures within the digital sector, large and small employers, colleges and professional bodies. We collaborate to find solutions to current and future sector-based challenges.
  • Connections to funding opportunities. These can support you with training costs, apprenticeships and other sector projects.
  • Regular contact with established training providers. They can support you to develop your workforce and develop effective recruitment pipelines.
  • Sharing of best practices to diversify your workforce, looking at ways to widen participation in the sector.

A Norfolk and Suffolk employer chairs the group. Officers from the Norfolk and Suffolk Skills Hub (Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils) support them. Norfolk County Council facilitates the group, with the support of the Chambers of Commerce-led Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and on behalf of the Skills Hub.
