Completing an Adult Social Care Online form
Setting up an Adult Social Care Online login
You'll need a landline or mobile phone (with good signal). You'll use this every time you log in to Adult Social Care Online to complete a social care form.
You may already have a login if you previously used the Norfolk County Council website to, for example, book a slot at a recycling centre or report a highways problem.
Steps to follow
- You'll need to create a login or use an existing login when you see the message 'In order to progress with this form you must either log in or complete a simple registration for a new login'. Select 'Login or Register' to continue.
- You'll now see a 'Sign In' form. If you already have a login, enter your email address and password, and select 'Sign in'. If you do not have a login, select 'Sign up now'.
- Input your email address and select 'Send verification code'.
- Without closing the sign-in page, go to your email inbox. You'll receive an email titled 'Norfolk County Council account email verification code'. The email will contain a 6-digit code. This email could take a few minutes to arrive. If you can't see it, check your spam or junk folder.
- Return to the registration page. Put the code into the 'Verification code' field, then select 'verify code'.
- Your email address has now been verified; you can now continue. Select 'Continue'.
- Complete the small form with your name and a password. Then select 'Create'.
- You now need to provide a phone number. This will be used to confirm your identity every time you log in. This can be either a landline or mobile phone number, but it needs to have good signal.
- If you're adding a landline, then select 'Call Me'. You'll then receive an automated call and it will prompt you to press the hash key (#) on your phone.
- If you're adding a mobile phone number, you can select 'Send Code' or 'Call Me'. If you select 'Send Code' you will receive a text message containing a six-digit code, which you will need to enter. If you select 'Call Me' you will receive an automated call and it will prompt you to press the hash key (#) on your phone.
- You'll then be asked to repeat this process to confirm your phone number.
Once this is complete you'll return to the form you were filling in. You'll see your name at the top of the screen, indicating that you're logged in. You'll be able to use the details you entered (your email address and password) in future to log in.
