The Virtual School offers:
Play and discover bags
Children love to play. Playing with your child helps their brains to develop and for their language and communication skills to mature. It also develops their motor skills and helps with problem solving.
To support children's learning and development, we have 'Play and Discover Bags'. These are available from our Virtual School. Your personal adviser can help you get one.
The bag contains a selection of resources for children under 5-years-olds. This includes:
- A soft toy
- A book
- Stacking cups or a game
- A book about supporting children with communication
Barefoot elearning paediatric first aid course
Barefoot eLearning offers an online first aid course for children and babies. You can access this by contacting the Virtual School.
You will gain the knowledge and confidence to handle first aid situations. The course covers:
- Emergencies
- Basic life support and CPR
- Dealing with shock
- Fractures
- Bleeding
- Minor injuries and illnesses
