GPS location devices for personal safety
GPS location devices support vulnerable people by providing real-time location tracking. They can help carers and family members check a person's location and respond in an emergency, while still promoting independence.
Benefits of the devices
- Peace of mind: families and carers can check on a person's location when needed.
- Rapid response in emergencies: helps locate individuals quickly if they wander, fall, or become unwell
- Supports independence: enables individuals to access the community while remaining safe
- Location alerts and tracking: some devices can send alerts if a person leaves a designated safe area
