How to get a smart device
Norfolk County Council does not currently provide smart devices as standard equipment.
They are available to buy through various retailers. Search "smart devices" on Amazon or other online retailers.
What to consider before buying
- Are you able to make effective voice commands?
- Do you have wi-fi in your home?
- Is there a suitable power source for the device?
- Can you or a family member or carer set up and manage an Amazon account?
- What is the return policy and warranty?
- Will you have support for setup and troubleshooting if needed?
- Where will you place the device so it can be clearly heard or seen?
