Norfolk Local SEND reform plan

Introduction

Norfolk has published a three-year plan to improve support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The Norfolk Local SEND Reform Plan has been developed with input from children and young people, parents and carers, schools, early years settings, colleges, the NHS, Norfolk County Council and the voluntary sector.

It has been endorsed by Norfolk's Local Inclusion Partnership, which is a formal partnership of organisations and leaders across Norfolk with responsibility for driving improvement in SEND services and inclusion.

The plan has been produced because the Government required all areas in England to create a local plan to set out how they will improve how children and young people with SEND are supported across early years, schools and further education.
