Better Broadband for Norfolk (BBfN) is a multi-million pound partnership, transforming broadband speeds across the county by installing high-speed fibre optic networks.
It is funded through:
- Norfolk County Council
- DEFRA via The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
- BT
- The Department of Culture, Media and Sport via BDUK (Broadband Delivery UK)
There has also been additional support from:
- The New Anglia LEP
- Five of Norfolk's district councils
Openreach have announced that Norwich is among 29 new locations to benefit from their nationwide investment programme. Read our press release for more information.
Openreach have also extended their free fibre build offer to new home developments of 20 plots or more. Read more about the free fibre offer at the ISPreview website.
