There are 2 Operational Managers based at Grays Fair Court and 3 at County Hall. They are responsible for providing support to the services which operate on a 24/7 basis, so this includes supporting staff working overnight.
2 of the posts at County Hall work nights and have an expectation to visit Grays Fair Court and Benjamin Court on a regular basis. All posts work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
What you'll be doing
County Hall -Line management of Norfolk Swift Response teams, who coordinate and deliver assistance to residents of Norfolk who have urgent unplanned social care needs, such as uninjured falls and personal care
County Hall -Liaising with Adult Social services, Emergency Duty Team, Ambulance Service and alarm providers to ensure residents in Norfolk receive the most appropriate response to their needs
Supporting the Registered Service Managers in planning, directing, developing and managing the service
Ensuring that preventative services are used to feed into an assessment for ongoing support where appropriate
Recruitment and retention of staff
Ensuring that staff are appropriately trained and available 24 hours, 365 days a year
Responsibility for ensuring that budgets are worked to
Line management of NFS Coordinators
Making use of electronic case management system
