The way we operate supports social workers with:
- Streamlined paperwork. This is so you can spend less time filling in forms and writing reports.
- Dedicated support staff for each family help team. This is to reduce your admin and provide wider support.
- Dedicated court work facilitators. This is to support you as part of a dedicated court work service that will wrap around all cases.
- Continuous development of the professionals that you can call in to help you. This includes domestic abuse specialists, homebased support workers, substance misuse workers. Many of these roles are part of our multi-disciplinary teams. They will work closely with you as part of the team around the family.
- A Children's Advice and Duty Service (CADS) team to triage cases to the right teams. This is so you can focus on where you can make the biggest difference.
- Aligning mental health practitioners with our teams. This reduces contacts, referrals, and the number of assessments which do not lead to ongoing work.
