Seatbelt safety
This online session teaches children the importance of wearing a seat belt or using a car seat when travelling in a vehicle.
The session works to build confidence, knowledge, understanding and resilience. It also builds independence and responsibility with the way we travel.
Aims
To enable children to understand:
- Why wearing a seat belt is important
- How to be a helpful passenger
Course details
This online session is for key stage 2 (children in year 3 and year 4). Teachers can decide if the learning outcomes would be suitable for other year groups.
We deliver the sessions live, via Microsoft Teams. Sessions run for approximately 60 minutes.
We can deliver sessions to:
- A single class
- Multiple classes
- Home education families
This session is in a quiz format to encourage children's engagement.

Cost
These sessions are free.
Norfolk County Council Public Health funds them.
