Volunteer
How we help care leavers make a positive difference to your community and find volunteering vacancies.
Volunteering is a great way for you to:
- Get out of the house
- Try new things
- Build your confidence
- Gain skills
Gaining skills like communication, teamwork and decision-making, can really help when you apply for a college or university course and a job.
How we can help you
We will support care leavers to look for volunteering opportunities.
Let your personal adviser know if you will struggle to pay travel costs because you volunteer. We may be able to help you with these costs.
