Climate action plan

Norfolk County Council recognises the serious impact of climate change locally and globally and the need for urgent action.

In June 2023, Norfolk County Council launched its Climate Strategy. The strategy sets out how the council can address its own carbon footprint and its role in supporting Norfolk's transition to become a greener and more resilient county.

We have also created an action plan that shows the practical steps we are taking to implement our Climate Strategy which will be refreshed annually.
