Bike Safe

We offer Bike Safe across Norfolk.
Bike Safe is a national, police-led motorcycle safety initiative. It aims to improve rider skills and knowledge.
It provides motorcyclists with an introduction to advanced riding techniques and safety awareness.
Who the training is for
Bike Safe is an opportunity for riders with a:
- Category A2 motorcycle licence
- Full category A motorcycle licence
These sessions are not applicable to learner riders.
About the training
Bike Safe sessions are 6 hours. They run from April until October each year.
Sessions include:
- Nine e-learning modules
- A theory workshop session
- An observed, on-road ride with a police motorcyclist
- Tailored feedback. This includes introducing further training. For example, IAM Road Smart courses, Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) training or our Hugger courses.
Cost
A Bike Safe session costs £84.
